I hurt my best friend. wat to do?

i made a small joke on him of a very sensitive topic. and i accepted my mistake, i said sorry to him so amny times.. but he did not reply.. the last message was "my affection is abused.".. and he did not reply anymore.. please tell me some solution!! hez like my elder brother.. and i knw hez really hurt!!
