Wedding & Family - to cancel('elope' instead) or not to cancel?

Do the surprize/nearest and dearest in an undisclosed location. Best idea. My nerves would be shot anyway. Elopement for me, but you said you can't, so do the next best thing do the above. What is the old saying, kinda refers to this situation, "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" meaning that no matter how much they b and gripe, it's done, you just don't answer the phone, emails or facebook, people will get tired of it. There will be a few who will never forget, but who cares for someone who can carry a grudge that long. Your family/f-in-law---you just can't please everyone---you can please some of the people all of the time, but none of the people all of the time~~~~~~~JL+++save your nerves, and then let this "stuff" go and go off into the wild blue yonder and have a heck of a nice, private, no phone, no interruptations honeymoon!!!!
