What kind of career field would I be qualified to enter? I'm tired of minimum wage retail... Please help me...

I'm going to be honest. I really dislike retail and customer service. I don't like putting on a plastic face and trying to sell useless products to individuals who probably cannot afford the items. I almost feel morally against it! I'm tired of the grueling, endless hours and minimal pay, most of which goes to gas that my car guzzles hungrily...just so I can go back to work and make more money so I can drive to work. ...I want a career, not just a job, but what am I qualified to do? I graduated college 7 years ago, but what can you do with an outdated broadcast communications degree? I can edit...video tapes, reel to reels. I can use some antiquated software. I can write commercial/spots, but I have no career experience or portfolio, so who would give me a chance? I tried to apply for career jobs, but could never even get an interview. My only hobbies are playing the guitar, drawing, writing...and I'm good at math...but what would I be qualified for?I want a fulfilling career.Ideas?
